Education program
DBG’s programs in education have been designed to respond to the overwhelming needs of the young boys and girls and the poor host communities in Mogadishu IDP settlements in.
We work to address community needs through the extension, rehabilitation of schools and provision of learning kit materials, school furniture and training for teachers and school committees.
DBG is completed supporting 15 IDPs and 8 public schools with direct beneficiaries of 5245 (2,810 girls and 2,435 boys) school going children in Sarkus (K7-K13), 77 Daynille, and Zona K IDP camps and six districts in Mogadishu named as Waaberi, Boondhere, Abdiaziiz, Shibis, Wadajir and Karan in Banadir Region, Somalia will directly benefit from the project who are vulnerable and couldn’t able to continue their studies b their own.
