SWYPP FOR YOUR RIGHTS interventions included training on Learn to Lead, Accountable Leadership, Advocacy, and Conflict Management with an Emphasis on Land Issues. DBG conducted a five-day training titled “Training Provided to Young Men and Women” was conducted with the objective of empowering youth and women in Hawl-Wadaag District. A total of 60 participants drawn from women, youth, people living with disability and groups attended the training.
The purpose of this training was to strengthen the capacity of young women and men to participate in peacebuilding efforts, promote accountability among young women and women within communities, and support young people in hosting youth-led peace initiatives in their communities. The training included various sessions such as accountable leadership, civic engagement, advocacy, and conflict management.
The facilitator ensured that participants previewed and understood the material. To achieve this, the facilitator engaged with participants in discussions and maintained a forum open for feedback, questions, and suggestions. Discussion sessions were supported by pre- and post-training assessments and presentations.
Objectives of the Training:

Conclusion
The training on Learn to Lead, Accountable Leadership, Advocacy, andConflictManagement with an Emphasis on Land Issues was a success. The participants were able to learn a great deal about the topics covered and they felt more confident in their ability to be effective leaders and advocates for their rights.
