Why Shelter/NFI

Shelter is fundamental in post-displacement recovery. DBG understands that in displacement situations, the loss of personal property is significant, and providing shelter is key to preserving human dignity and aiding recovery.

What we Do
DBG focuses on constructing various types of shelters: transitional, semi-permanent, and permanent, to cater to the diverse needs of IDPs and host communities.

Our Interventions
Our initiatives aim to provide safe, adequate shelter, essential in improving living conditions and promoting stability for those affected by conflict or natural disasters. By constructing and rehabilitating shelters, we also support housing reconstruction efforts.

The Impact

DBG's shelter/NFI programs have benefited 92,736 individuals, significantly contributing to their recovery and stability. Our efforts are centered on ensuring that displaced populations and communities have access to safe and adequate shelter, vital for their overall well-being and dignity.
