Restoring Hope in the Afgoye Corridor: A Lifeline for Somalia’s Most Vulnerable

In the heart of the Afgoye Corridor where the interlocking crises of drought, conflict and displacement converge, Daryeel Bulsho Guud (DBG) is weaving a thread of resilience. Our recent nutrition project has achieved 100% of its targets delivering life-saving assistance to those who need it most.

Our Impact at a Glance:

  • 800 Malnourished Children received targeted nutritional support (Milk powder, dates, specialized porridge, vegetable cooking oil, Sugar and canned fish).
  • 250 Displaced Households provided with emergency food rations (rice, milk powder, wheat flour, vegetable cooking oil, Salt, tea leaves and baked beans) to stabilize their food security.
  • Inclusivity in Action: We reached 59 individuals with disabilities and prioritized PLWs and female-headed households.
