Construction of gender-sensitive school latrines for boys and girls, with handwashing units in 41 schools in Kahda and Daynile districts in Banadir region.

Schools require latrines to ensure proper hygiene, sanitation, and a safe learning environment.  Latrines prevent open defecation, reduce the spread of diseases, and maintain cleanliness.  Separate latrines for boys and girls provide privacy and dignity, particularly for female students.  Access to latrines promotes attendance, retention, and overall well-being, while also creating a conducive learning environment.
